Rooms are available free of charge to the family members of those hospice patients who qualify to be admitted to the Hospice House for a short-term stay. "When you come into a medical setting, typically, it's white walls and it just feels sterile and uncomfortable," Ang Pereira, social worker. "We know there's no place like home, but we have tried to make it feel homey, warm, and welcoming."
